Florida Shows

Since the Florida shows are less than 10 days away I thought I would start a thread for them.  I hope everyone that is going has fun and takes lots of pictures and hopefully some video.  Let's hope for wonderful weather!!!

Still very jealous of those going to these shows!  It is going to be FREAKING AWESOME!  I am keeping my fingers crossed that he does something like this closer to home..................even though this summer it will be FIVE years since he's been to Michigan!

Just Richard and his guitar.............the way it was meant to be!  Love the band shows........but this will be a treat!

Nicki, I was really jealous about the Toledo Symphony Show.  Unfortunately it's impossible to come to all the shows.  These Florida shows will probably be my last ones for now...unless I see something posted in CA.  I wish you were coming to FL...I'll always remember how much fun it was hanging out with you and the others on the cruise.

I am jealous too!  "Freaking awesome" is such an apt and proper description.  You have my kind of way with words, Nicki!  Michigan.. Such a GREAT idea!  But I would take anywhere in the midwest at this point, because Richard with just his guitar and piano is the way it is meant to be.

The other nurse Nancy, her friend, and I were talking about meeting for dinner before the Orlando show.  If there's anyone else who's going to the Orlando show that would like to meet for dinner, please send me a msg.  Gail?  Mary A.?  Gail, I would love to see you again and hear what you're up to...and hear more about your boss who you're so crazy about, lol.     I'm not sure where we'll go, but Nancy is familiar with the area and might have some restaurant suggestions.  Might be fun.  And It's always nice to be able to put a face with the name.

Nancy - I am getting really excited for the end of this week. I will send the details when we get a bit closer towards the weekend.  Meeting up with everyone sounds like fun. will run it by helen but I think she is up for anything.  Of course because I am so anxious for the end of the week ... it is going to drag... I will get distracted by St. Patrick's day which is always fun in my family!

It sounds like fun.  I just realized that I kind of overbooked myself in terms of work the past few days.  I worked Thurs., Fri., yesterday, off today, and then working again tomorrow and Tues.  I had to do it to get time off for this FL trip.  Some 12 hr. shifts and some 8's.  I've also been under the weather, so it's been tough the past few days...trying to take care of patients when I'm having trouble breathing...but many nurses are sick, and I can't expect them to cover me, so I just have to press on.   Fortunately I'm starting to feel better, and I'm looking forward to the trip.  I haven't heard much from my friend Donna who is traveling with me...but it's tax season, and I imagine she's up to her eyeballs with work preparing taxes for her clients.

I'll also be volunteering in my daughter's Kindergarten clA$$ on Wed., St. Patrick's Day...what a busy time it is lately!  I found a green Tshirt for Nicole with a sequined shamrock, but I don't know what I have that's green...I don't wear much green, but I don't want to be pinched by a mob of Kindergarteners, lol, so I better come up with something.   

I'l keep my eyes open for a msg.  from you.

Helene, I enjoy chatting with you, too.    Nicole just took over my laptop, so I had to go to the desktop computer.  I agree the that time difference makes it complicated.  I slept in as long as Nicole would let me, and I haven't been up too long today, and you'll probably be going to bed in a while, lol.

getting very excited about the FL shows! I'm going to the one on thursday in clearwater...don't think anyone else from here is...will try to post on friday about it so those going to the orlando show will know what to expect...

Nancy--I already have plans w/all the people I am going with but I am sure I will see u since our seats are near each other...if he head east on bumby & go to colonial drive, there are tons of restaurants to choose from....either direction!

Mary, I saw a msg. from you....I think it was very early this morning before I went to work.  It's been a long day, so I'll have to read it again.  Last night I got off at the clinic at 11pm and had to be back at the hospital at 7AM, so I'm a little tired...very little sleep.   I'll reply soon.

Mary, I replied to your msg. from this board.  What kind of food do you like?  I'm in the mood for seafood.   Maybe we could go somewhere that serves a variety of things.

Nancy - responded to your message - thanks .. I am not crazy about seafood but up for pretty much anything else.. i am sure we can find something for everyone. We can see what is available when we actually get to Florida. - LOL
